Privacy Policy (AIFootTraffic.com)
Effective date: January 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Olmsted Tech LLC (“AIFootTraffic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use aifootttraffic.com and related services (the “Services”).
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services.
1) Who is responsible for your information
Data Controller (for most processing): Olmsted Tech LLC (Wyoming, USA)
Registered Agent Address: 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States
Contact: support@aifootttraffic.com
If you purchase Professional Services, you may also be a “controller” of information you provide to us about your business and customers. In those cases, we may act as a “service provider”/“processor” for certain activities. (If needed for enterprise customers, we can provide a separate Data Processing Addendum.)
2) Information we collect
We collect information in three main ways: (a) you provide it, (b) we collect it automatically, and (c) we receive it from third parties.
A) Information you provide
- Account information: email address, password/auth tokens (via Supabase authentication), and account preferences.
- Business information you submit for reports: business name, address, phone number, website URL, category, Google Business Profile link, social media links, and any other business details you provide.
- Professional Services access details (optional): credentials or access tokens you provide for your website/CMS/hosting, analytics, listings, or social accounts (we encourage delegated access where possible).
- Communications: messages you send to support, sales, or onboarding, including any attachments.
- Marketing preferences: whether you opt in to receive marketing emails.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, health data, precise financial account details) through the Services unless we explicitly request it for a legitimate purpose.
B) Information we collect automatically
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, clicks, events, feature usage, referral URLs, approximate location (inferred from IP), device/browser information, and log data.
- Cookie and similar technology data: identifiers stored in cookies/local storage, session data, and analytics identifiers (depending on your settings and consent where required).
- Security data: information used to help secure accounts and prevent fraud/abuse.
C) Information from third parties
- Payment information (via Stripe): we receive purchase confirmation and limited billing details (e.g., last 4 digits, payment status). Stripe processes payment card details directly.
- Advertising/analytics partners: if enabled, platforms like Google and LinkedIn may provide aggregated performance/attribution data (e.g., campaign conversions).
3) How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide the Services
- create and manage accounts;
- generate Free Reports and Monthly Reports;
- deliver the DIY Playbook and paid features;
- provide onboarding and Professional Services.
- Maintain, improve, and secure the Services
- troubleshoot, debug, and maintain performance;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- measure usage and improve user experience.
- Communicate with you
- send transactional emails (account alerts, receipts, report notifications);
- provide support and respond to requests.
- Marketing (only where permitted/consented)
- send marketing emails if you opt in (and you can unsubscribe anytime);
- run and measure advertising campaigns (subject to cookie/consent controls where required).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce terms
- comply with applicable laws and regulations;
- enforce our Terms of Service and protect our rights.
4) AI model providers and what we send to them
To generate certain report outputs, we may use third-party AI model APIs (currently including providers such as OpenAI and Google).
- We intend to send only public business information (e.g., business name, location, category, website URL, public profile links) needed to evaluate how a business appears in AI-assisted local recommendations.
- We do not intentionally send personal data or private business data to model providers for report generation.
- Because inputs can vary, you should avoid entering personal or sensitive information into fields that may be used to generate AI-driven report content.
Model providers process data under their own terms and policies in addition to ours.
5) Cookies, analytics, and advertising
A) What we use
We use cookies and similar technologies (like local storage and pixels) for:
- Essential operations (authentication, security, session management);
- Analytics (understanding how the Services are used), including tools such as PostHog;
- Advertising/measurement (attribution and campaign performance), which may include tags/pixels for platforms such as Google and LinkedIn, and other ad tools as we expand.
B) Consent (EU/UK and similar jurisdictions)
If you are in the EU/UK (and in other places where consent is required), we will use a cookie consent tool to load non-essential cookies/trackers only after you consent. You can change your preferences through the cookie settings (where provided) or your browser controls.
C) Your choices
Depending on your jurisdiction and settings:
- you can control cookies through the consent banner and/or cookie settings;
- you can block cookies via your browser settings (some features may not work);
- you can opt out of certain targeted advertising by using platform opt-out tools and, where required, controls we provide.
6) How we share information
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. We may share information in the following situations:
A) Service providers (“processors”)
We share information with vendors that help us operate the Services, such as:
- Authentication and database
- Hosting, content delivery, and security
- Analytics
- Email delivery
- Payments
- AI model providers for report generation using public business information as described above;
- Advertising platforms for campaign measurement/attribution (subject to consent where required).
We share only what is reasonably necessary for these providers to perform services on our behalf.
B) Legal, safety, and enforcement
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith it is necessary to:
- comply with law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process;
- protect the security or integrity of the Services;
- protect our rights, property, or users;
- investigate or prevent fraud or abuse.
C) Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
D) With your direction
We may share information when you request or authorize us to do so (for example, during Professional Services involving your third-party platforms).
7) Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to:
- provide the Services;
- maintain business records and audit trails;
- comply with legal obligations;
- resolve disputes and enforce agreements; and
- protect against fraud/abuse.
Because reports and performance history can be valuable over time, we may retain report outputs and related logs until you delete your account and/or request deletion, unless retention is required or permitted by law (for example, to comply with tax/accounting requirements or to maintain security logs). We may also retain aggregated or de-identified information for longer periods.
8) Your rights and controls
A) Account controls
Where available, you can:
- export your data;
- delete your account; and
- manage preferences (including marketing preferences).
B) Marketing emails
If you opted into marketing, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails. Transactional messages (like receipts and security alerts) may still be sent.
C) Jurisdiction-based privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as:
- access to personal information we hold about you;
- correction of inaccurate information;
- deletion of personal information;
- portability (export) of certain data; and
- objection to, or restriction of, certain processing.
To exercise rights, contact support@aifootttraffic.com. We may verify your request (for example, by confirming access to the email on your account). Some rights may be limited by law (e.g., legal retention obligations).
D) Targeted advertising opt-out (where applicable)
In some jurisdictions, you may have a right to opt out of “targeted advertising” or similar concepts. Where we offer such controls, we will honor them. You can also use platform opt-outs and cookie settings.
9) International data transfers
We are based in the United States and may process and store information in the U.S. and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps designed to provide appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you provide credentials for Professional Services, we recommend using delegated access (e.g., adding us as a manager) where possible and limiting access to the minimum necessary.
11) Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12) Third-party links and services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party sites and services (including Google Business Profile, social platforms, and ad platforms). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
13) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on the site and may notify you by email or through the Services. Your continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
